A Sahagin mage cast a spear of water from his staff towards Aelusdro and Rudolf.

Ellie created a shield of light to weaken the magical impact, but Aelusdro and Rudolf staggered from the force.
The Sahagin leader charged at Aelusdro and Rudolf, but Aelusdro blocked the attack with his scaled arm, then restrained its movements with his shield before swiftly counterattacking with his sword.
"Aelusdro! Receive my light!"
"Yes! ... Guh. Trans Scale!"
Ellie’s light enveloped Aelusdro's sword. As the effect of the scales wore off, he generated new scales with miasma.

Shuu disrupted the enemy's aim and decreased his attack accuracy by creating multiple clones with ninjutsu. He then swiftly attacked the vulnerable spots of the Sahagin leader with his dual daggers.
The Sahagin leader screamed in agony.
"I won't show mercy to my adversaries."
"You little brat... I will definitely kill you."
"If you think you can kill me, go ahead and try!"
The Sahagin leader wielding an axe unleashed a powerful strike towards Shuu.
Aelusdro protected Shuu, partially blocking the attack with his scaled body.
The Sahagin leader scoffed and gave instructions to a Sahagin warrior, urging it to attack Rudolf.
"I see it now. O spirits of the earth, raise your fist! Earth Blast!"
"Guuaaah!"
However, Rudolf mercilessly dropped a chunk of rock on the Sahagin warrior, the chief and subordinate of the sahagin leader, rendering it unable to fight.
"Chief!"
"You dare to desecrate our seas! I won't show mercy anymore!"
Angered by the defeat of their chief, the Sahagin mage unleashed water bullets repeatedly towards Aelusdro and the others.
However, due to its loss of composure, the attacks flew in random directions and rarely hit their targets.
Although a few bullets managed to hit, Ellie created a shield of light, mitigating the damage, and the overall impact was minimal.

With the Sahagin Leader vanquished and the Sahagin Chief defeated, the morale of the Sahagin Mage plummeted. The enemies had completely lost their will to fight and swiftly retreated from the cave.

As the four of them exited the cove, they noticed that the Sahagin guards who had been patrolling the beach had disappeared. It seemed that their victory over the Sahagin leader had prompted a retreat.

Aelusdro, Rudolf, Ellie, and Shuu received their payment from the client, Foria.

Ellie was fascinated by the unfamiliar currency.
